Ho Chi Minh International University

International University (IU), one of six member universities of Vietnam National University HCMC, was established in December 2003. As an interdisciplinary university, it is the first public university in Vietnam that uses English as the primary language in teaching and researching. IU and its partner universities currently offer undergraduate and graduate accredited programs.

The focus has been on offering academic majors that are aligned with the growing demand for human resources in such fields as economics, management, science, and technology. IU’s overall model adheres to the international standards in developing syllabi or curricula in collaboration with several top universities in the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Viet Nam Center of Research in Economics, Management and Environment (VCREME)

Established in October 2010, Viet Nam Center of Research in Economics, Management and Environment (VCREME) is an independent research center leaded by Professor Cuong LE VAN, Research Director of Exceptional Class at the French National Center for Scientific Research CNRS).

Currently VCREME are concentrating on research projects which are the most important issues in Vietnam such as growth and sustainable development, environmental pollution, water management, disaster risk reduction and climate change. VCREME will also organize seminars, conferences and national and international economic and environmental management.

Hanoi Stock Exchange

Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) was born in accordance with Decision No.01/2009/QĐ-TTg by Prime Minister on the basis of transforming and restructuring Hanoi Securities Trading Center which was established upon Decision No. 127/1998/QĐ-TTgand launched on 08/03/2005.

Being an organizer and regulator of the securities market, the HNX has organized share auctions, Government Bond biddings to mobilize capital for the State budget. In parallel, the HNX has operated three secondary trading markets on a modern technological structure, including listed stock market, Government Bond market, and UPCoM (Unlisted Public Company Market).
